Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to join our outstanding and diverse audiology program in Killeen, TX. The position will include both adults and pediatrics and will focus on diagnostic audiology and hearing aids.The audiology team works closely and collaboratively with our team of otolaryngology physicians to offer comprehensive healthcare to our patient population. This position is part of an expansion plan of Baylor Scott and White audiology, and the plan includes the future addition of extended weekday hours for increased patient convenience.

We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.

Responsibilities of this position are to provide audiological services for newborn to geriatric populations. We are currently seeking a candidate with a true passion for helping people communicate better through consultation, fitting and dispensing of amplification technology and assistive devices, as well as exceptional counseling on use of technology. Experience in a vast array of audiology services, including comprehensive audiological evaluations, tinnitus evaluations, hearing conservation counseling/consultation, cochlear implants, and electrophysiology evaluations is also a plus.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.)
  • Valid Texas Audiology license.
  • Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification or American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
  • At least one year of fitting and dispensing experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
