What you will do in this role:


Demonstrates the ability to performspecific competencies as listed on the competency validation checklist(s).

Demonstrates age specific knowledgeof human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care ofpatients.

Ensures the privacy of our patientand confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI).

Meets mutually agreed uponperformance goals/objectives as listed on the Performance Management Plan.

Utilizes nursing process forindividual care to meet needs of patients.

Demonstrates ability to performtechnical skills and procedures.

Documents all patient care.

Demonstrates critical thinkingskills.

Promotes customer serviceinitiatives.

Promotes and exhibits teamwork.

Completes mandatory education.

Complies with hospitalpolicies/procedures and patient safety initiatives.



What qualifications you will need:


Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Current TX RN licensure

Minimum of one year ICU experience or successful completion of ICU Internship program

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BLCLS) and Certification

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
